Resolve Muscle Stiffness

Hey everyone! In today's blog post I am sharing some advice to help you find relief from muscle stiffness.

Common Causes

More often than not, muscle stiffness occurs due to insufficient movement and inflexibility. This includes sitting for long periods during the day at home, work, or while driving. Tightness and pain can be caused by cellular inflammation due to a poor diet and a lack of exercise. Your muscles will also become stiff and fatigued when overused. Motions as simple as typing on a keyboard can contribute to your muscle stiffness when performed for an extended period of time with poor ergonomics.

Hydration

Although hydration may seem unrelated, increasing your water intake is one of the easiest ways to reduce muscle stiffness and soreness. Water naturally dilutes cellular inflammation and flushes harmful toxins out of your body.

Movement

Hydration is an important component of muscle health, but movement is the key to resolving current tightness in the body. Movement produces positive blood flow with oxygenation, helping to push lactic acid out of your muscle tissues. If you are experiencing any pain or discomfort, try incorporating consistent light exercise into your day to loosen up your muscles, such as walking, jogging, and stretching.

If you are looking for some extra relief from muscle stiffness, I recommend the Hypervolt Go 2 massage gun. It allows you to loosen muscle knots and target fatigue at home and on the go.
